The mountain refuge of Vegabaño is located in the occidental range of the Picos Europa nestled in a meadow at 1432mts. From here you can see & access the limestone summits of the Moledizos, Besmeja, Peña Santa de Castilla, Torco, Peña Beza, Cabronero…
Mostly surrounded by beech & oak forests, the refuge is neighbour to the Roblón(Big Oak) de Cuesta Fría, this ancient massive tree stands up in the forest witness of an Eden proclaimed World Heritage. Geology, Flora & Fauna makes these unknown places a magical paradise.
